  • Relaxed, judgement-free teaching style
  • Written feedback after every single lesson
  • Progress tracked against real test standards

"Nobody fails because they're a bad driver. They fail because nobody slowed down long enough to teach them properly."

04 Practical & Theory Support

Passing takes more than time behind the wheel

Every learner gets the full support package as standard — not as a paid add-on.

01

Mock practical tests

A full 40-minute mock run under real exam conditions, on a live test route, marked on the official DL25 sheet. You'll know your fault count before the DVSA ever sees you.

02

Theory & hazard perception

Free access to our revision pack, mock question banks and hazard-perception clips, plus a weekly nudge if you're the kind of person who needs one. Most learners pass theory inside three weeks.

03

Feedback after every lesson

A short written recap by text or WhatsApp: what improved, what's next, and exactly what to practise privately before we meet again. No guesswork between lessons.

A student revising theory test material at a laptop

The DVSA average is around 45 hours of professional tuition plus 22 hours of private practice. In our experience automatic learners tend to land nearer 30–40 hours and manual learners 40–45. After your assessment drive we'll give you a realistic number rather than a marketing one — and we'd rather revise it down than surprise you later.

A manual licence lets you drive both; an automatic licence only covers automatics. But automatics are quicker to learn, far less stressful in London traffic, and the UK is going that way anyway. If you're nervous, short on time, or only ever plan to drive an automatic — take the automatic. If you want maximum flexibility, take the manual.

Not to start lessons — you only need a valid provisional licence. You do need theory passed before you can book a practical test, and it must be passed before day one of any intensive course. We'll give you our revision pack from your first lesson so you can work on it in parallel.

Yes — free door-to-door pickup and drop-off anywhere inside Hendon, Kingsbury, Stanmore, Harrow, Ruislip, Pinner, Barnet and Watford. Different pickup and drop-off points are fine too; just tell us when you book the slot.

48 hours' notice and we'll move the lesson at no cost. Under 48 hours and the lesson is chargeable, because the slot can rarely be refilled. Genuine emergencies and illness are handled sensibly — talk to us.

Yes. Test-day car hire is £120 as an add-on and is already included in the Intensive package. That covers a warm-up drive on the test route beforehand, the test itself, and the drive home afterwards — however it goes.

Constantly, and it's some of our favourite work. Our oldest learner to pass was 61. We start somewhere quiet, keep the first sessions short, and move outward only when you're ready. Nobody gets thrown onto the North Circular in week one.

Bank transfer or card. Pay-as-you-go is settled at the end of each lesson. Block bookings can be split across two payments — half up front, half at the halfway point — just ask on the consultation call.
